Data is an important area that our law firm is developing expertise at the moment. Privacy and Data Protection laws are fairly new to Oman with the advent of new data related legislations and policies in 2019 complimenting E-Transaction Laws and Cyber Crimes law which has been in owe for over a decade. Our lawyers regularly articles in LexisNexis and in American Bar Association for Oman on Data Privacy and Protection. We have been involved in the drafting of the executive regulations to the Statistics and Information Law and review of the Data Protection Law of the country.
